Use of the Site is governed by these terms and conditions (together with the documents referred to on it) (“Terms and Conditions”).Please read them now. Bookings & Purchases from our site
We do not store credit or debit card details, nor do we share customer details with any third parties.
Unless you ask to subscribe to our newsletter by way of becoming a member of ARVS , we will only use your contact details to communicate with you regarding your booking or purchase.
You have the right to remove your details from our database. To do so please contact the Secretary.
We will contact you by email where possible, but we ask for your telephone number when booking a seminar in case we have to contact you urgently – we will not otherwise contact you by telephone.
When you make a booking for a seminar, you will have the opportunity to opt to receive our special offers. If you choose not to receive these, you will not receive any unsolicited mail from ARVS.
BOOKINGS FOR CPD
Payment/Cancellation Policy
We require payment in full at the time of booking. We will send an email confirming your booking, with full details of the date and venue, on receipt of your payment. We regret that, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations Act 2013 relating to events on specific dates, we cannot accept cancellations less than 6 weeks prior to the seminar date, however, we will use our best endeavours to transfer your booking to an alternative seminar (see Your Agreement below).
BOOKINGS – Your Agreement
By making a booking on a ARVS seminar, you are entering into an agreement as follows:
I consent to the personal details being collected for the purpose of this purchase. (These details will be used only in relation to this purchase and will not be passed on to a third-party).
I acknowledge that I am entering into a contract with ARVS. If I cancel my booking(s) – I understand that I must notify the Secretary by email (full details are in your Order Confirmation email). Transfers to other seminars can only be given if ARVS is able to fill my place(s). Refunds will only be given for cancellations more than 6 weeks prior to the seminar.
I understand that during my CPD with ARVS I may visit a variety of locations. I understand that during the full duration of the course, and when I am visiting, or travelling to or from these locations, I do so entirely at my own personal risk and take full responsibility for my actions.
I have read and understood ARVS’s advice below on Insurance.
I acknowledge that the data that I provide when making my booking(s) will be held centrally by ARVS
I acknowledge that if I prefer ARVS not to use any images of me, taken by other delegates or ARVS during my seminar, I must inform ARVS on the day of the seminar.
Merchandise
Merchandise will be invoiced prior to dispatched, only if in stock. Orders will be posted when payment is received. We will accept returns and issue refunds only if the good are found to be faulty or if returned unused, with labels still attached. We will not accept returns from goods faulty due to wear and tear, and should be within 3 months of purchase.
COVID-19 – I agree to comply with all regulations and local rules relating to COVID-19 when attending seminars. Should I reside in an area under lockdown at the date of the seminar, or should I develop symptoms which could indicate I have contracted the virus or come into contact with someone with the virus, I will get in touch with ARVS (details in your confirmation email) to rearrange my booking.
Obligations of ARVS
If, due to unforeseen circumstances, ARVS is forced to cancel a seminar we will offer you the choice of an available place on a future seminar or a refund of fees paid.
Insurance
It is advisable that you have adequate insurance. We are not responsible for any damage incurred to your belongings whilst participating on one of our courses.
